The State Theater believes in providing Exceptional Event Experiences that benefit our community and its members.
Through the Community Event Grant Program, The State Theater is proud to support the charitable work happening in and around our community by providing event space grants to local organizations and individuals. Event space grants will allow individuals and organizations to hold their charitable event at The State Theater free of charge*. No monetary funding will be given by the State Theater.
To be eligible for the Community Event Grant, you must either be a non-profit organization with a current 501(c)(3) status**, or an individual or group raising money or awareness for a non-profit organization with a current 501(c)(3) status.
Grants will be awarded quarterly based on the following rolling schedule:

Each grant application will be reviewed by the Board of Directors and will be approved or denied based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, venue availability, expected attendance, event program, and anticipated community impact.
Community Event Grant applicants will be notified of decision via e-mail.
All Community Event Grant decisions are final.
If a Community Event Grant Application is approved, the applicant will be required to sign and return an event contract within 10 business days of notification and a post event form within 30 days of event date.
*Fees may still apply for technical aspects of venue rental if needed (i.e. sound, lighting, ticketing, etc.).
** Government entities: state, county, or city agency, including law enforcement or fire departments, and any political group or campaign are ineligible for this program.
All grant applications are made subject to The State Theater’s review of the organization applying or being represented and the organization or individual’s agreement to comply with The State Theater’s rental policies. The State Theater reserves the right to decline event space through this grant program to any organization for any reason.
